Beats on the Bog

A weekend of live music, dance and fun on the mountain.

  • Booking essential

The sound of music is in the air with a series of events over the weekend.

We kick off with a performance from Colin Glen Men's Shed Ukulele Group on Saturday 17 at midday. Find them at the Café Barn and enjoy the tunes!

A 'Beginners Bodhrán Lesson' with Tomaí Taylor follows this between 2pm - 3pm. Booking is essential and tickets are £5.00 per person. For ticket enquiries please contact the Divis and Black Mountain office. Tomaí is a bodhrán player and maker from Belfast. He started playing the bodhrán at age 17 and since then he has performed and taught in local and international settings.

On Sunday 18 August, Footnote Productions will return to Divis and the Black Mountain with another craic-filled Céilí at the Café. No booking required, come along between 2pm - 4pm and enjoy the live musicians, playing some well known and local songs to get your feet moving!
