Talks will include:

Michelle Duggan – RSPB – Michelle’s talk will provide an overview of the work the RSPB is doing in County Down particularly with the farming community and will showcase the work farmers are doing in the area to secure the future of threatened farmland birds, like Yellowhammer.

Kerry Mackie – 100 Years Of Wild Goose Chasing, covering goose hunting prior to their population collapse in the mid 1930's to a gradually improved understanding of their ecology and latest scientific direction.

Blair Bailie from Exploris - A family-friendly interactive workshop about everyone’s favourite marine mammals. This talk includes several rounds of Seal or No Seal, fun facts from seals around the world, how to tell our two native species apart, what Exploris does to help seals, and some stories of their rescues, rehabilitations and releases.

Ulster Wildlife will deliver two talks on the 48 Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in NI covering 38% of our inshore waters and Marine Mammals in northern Ireland.
