A craft that has been honed over two thousand years would have once been a common sight and sound at Springhill.
Come and meet fifth generation Master Farrier, Paul Duddy AWCF as he revives this ancient skill of forging horse shoes at Springhill.
Demonstrations begin at 12.30pm and 2.30pm in the Dovecote.
This event is free, but standard admission to Springhill applies.

This event is not suitable for dogs, as the sights and sounds may scare them. The presence of dogs might also scare the horse, which can cause injury to both the horse and farrier. Dogs are welcome in the rest of Springhill grounds, including the café
