Belton will be at it's festive best from 23 November 2024 - 5 January 2025* (*closed Christmas Day). Celebrate your best-loved festive traditions and explore the mansion glittering in festive finery.

Christmas in the Mansion: The Enchanted Parkland

Add a little sparkle to your visit this festive season and wander through spectacular rooms decorated with twinkling lights and showstopping trees.

Prepare to be captivated as you explore Christmas in the Mansion, redesigned for 2024, with magical woodland influences and enchanting creations inspired by Belton’s parkland.

Utterly transformed, the Marble Hall will take on an ethereal beauty, leading you through a sugar-plum fairy inspired land and delicate wildlife origami will enhance the Library’s features. Dried flowers and mushroom decorations will complement the Tapestry Room, while the Windsor Bedroom will be set for a parkland picnic.

Families can even spot hidden crafted deer along the way, expertly made by a team of volunteers.

On your approach to the mansion, you’ll discover Santa’s sleigh within the West Courtyard. Custom built by maintenance volunteers, this sleigh, made accessible with space for a wheelchair user, provides a photo opportunity for family and loved ones, with the mansion as a festive background.

Opening times

23 November 2024 – 5 January 2025, open daily (closed Christmas Day), 11am – 3.30pm (last admission 3pm).

Entry is included in National Trust membership or normal admission to Belton. There is no pre-booking required for entry to the mansion.
