- Free event
Qualified British Cycling Ride Leaders will meet you in Wyndham Park and guide you at a safe and leisurely pace through Queen Elizabeth Park, through Sunningdale and onto the new cycle/footpath up to Londonthorpe Woods. After a short break to introduce this beautiful woodland amenity, you will make your way along 5 Gates Lane and on to the Belton Estate.
Here you will stop for refreshments and be treated to a short talk about the estate. Once rested, you will continue through the parkland and retrace your path back to Wyndham Park.
Your leaders are fully trained and qualified through British Cycling, and above all friendly. They will take all reasonable steps to ensure your, and the public's, safety especially on road sections and we never leave anyone behind.
Some of the route is on slightly bumpy gravel so thin road tyres are not ideal.
Please arrive on time to allow time for introductions and bike safety checks.
Visit the Let's Ride page to book your slot and search 'Grantham' to see the Reconnecting Grantham rides pop up.
