Sheffield U3A A Cappella Singers & Crescent Recorder Quartet

Join us in the Chapel of Saint Mary the Virgin to hear the beautiful voices of Sheffield U3A A Cappella Singers with an interval filled with classical music played by the Crescent Recorder Quartet.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

The Sheffield A Cappella group started 12 years ago by a group of experienced singers who either sang or have sung with other choirs. They sing a mixture of choral pieces, madrigals, folk songs, more modern pieces and occasionally something a bit more unusual.

Crescent Recorders, based in Woodhouse Sheffield, play early music and their pieces will include pieces by Handel and Boismortier (an early Baroque composer).
