House open days are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. On these days we have tours at 10.30 and 11.00 and free-flow house entry from 11.30. The last entry to the house at Claydon is 14.45. The 10.30 and 11.00 tours are not able to be prebooked and are first-come first-served.

Entry to Claydon House is free for National Trust members.There is no need to prebook your visit. Tickets are available to purchase from Reception on arrival.

Please note that the garden offer has changed recently. The South Lawn is now under National Trust care and included in the admission price.

signposted A413 (Buckingham), A41 (Waddesdon crossroads). M40 junction 9 (Bicester) follow A41, turn off to Grendon Underwood and Calvert, signposted from Calvert Crossroads. Please allow extra time for your journey to Claydon, due to ongoing roadworks in the local area.

Special Christmas tours at Claydon

29 & 30 November, 5, 12, 13, 14 December. Join us on a tour of the rooms decorated for Christmas. Hear how members of the Verney family and their servants celebrated Christmas across three centuries. With shutters tightly closed the House recreates the spirit of Christmases past with dozens of flickering candles. Please book your place before visiting.
