Outdoor theatre: Treasure Island

Join us for this family theatre performance set against the backdrop of Hughenden's picturesque Parterre. Based on the classic children's novel by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1883 classic is brought to life with theatrical magic at Hughenden this summer. Whilst retaining the narrative of Stevenson’s classic, with depth, integrity, a dash of thriller and a large amount of silliness, Gari Jones’ adaptation is brimming with pirate speak, off-the-wall characters and a whole heap of original sea shanties.

Site gates open: 6pm

Performance starts: 7pm

Performance running time: approximately 2 hours, including a 20-minute interval.

Adult £25, Senior Citizen £23, child (under 18) £15, plus booking fees. Please note, tickets are only available online via the Creation Theatre box office linked on this page and cannot be purchased at Hughenden.

Refreshments available to purchase from the Parterre terrace.

Assistance dogs only allowed at this performance.
