A Nordic Christmas at Hughenden
25 November 2024 - 3 January 2025: Whisk your family away from the everyday and immerse yourself in a Nordic inspired Christmas at Hughenden, with a decorated house and family activity trail.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Celebrate a Nordic Christmas at Hughenden, drawing inspiration from the time-honoured traditions of Northern Europe, where the enchantment of long winters is celebrated with warm light amongst the beauty of nature. With references to Norse Gods, fairytales, and traditions of the Arctic and Nordic regions in both the manor and garden. Outside, the adventure continues with a Nordic fairy tale, family trail.
Set a date to meet family and friends at Hughenden to come together in a cosy Christmas setting and make lasting memories.
Christmas can be a busy time at Hughenden, especially during the holidays. Most of our visitors tend to arrive between 11am and 1pm, which can cause congestion in the car park especially on weekends. If you arrive at 10am you might find the grounds a little quieter, or if you arrive after 1pm, there’s still time to enjoy all that Hughenden has to offer. If you have the flexibility, a weekday visit is generally quieter than a weekend, even during school holidays. If you can only visit over the weekend, Saturdays are usually less busy than Sundays.
Please note that the Manor opens at 11am.
