Christmas lights at Calke Abbey
As darkness descends this Christmas, discover Calke Abbey aglow with festive lights.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Inspired by nature this Christmas, see the animals and plants that live at Calke come to life with illuminations around the Pleasure Grounds.
Follow the animal tracks, spot the creatures illuminated in the trees, look out for birdhouses lighting your way and admire a dreamy Christmas eve scene, inspired by wildlife pictured on the state bed silk hangings.
On your way down from the Pleasure Grounds, catch a glimpse of the east side of the house, lit up with projections of Christmas wreaths.
Looking for more festive fun? This is just one of many events taking place at Calke this Christmas. Visit our Christmas article to find out more.
