Come together at Ilam Park this Christmas for festive family fun or a bracing winter walk. With a wide range of events and activities to choose from there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy Ilam Park this festive season.

Ilam Park Christmas launch weekend

23 & 24 November

Your family Christmas starts at Ilam Park with with our launch weekend at the end of November. Enjoy music, delicious treats from the tearoom drop in kids crafts, festive games, the winter footprint trail, meet Father Christmas and wreath-making sessions as you start the festive season. You can even buy a sustainable Christmas tree, all in support of our conservation work.

Wreath Making at Ilam Park

23 November - 24 November

Get into the festive spirit and create a stunning wreath to adorn your door ready for Christmas. Use natural materials foraged from the park to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Christmas tree sales

23 November to 23 December (or until stocks last) 

Get ready to deck the halls! Our annual Christmas tree sale is back, featuring a stunning selection of fresh, fragrant trees. Find the perfect one to bring Christmas cheer to your home. Every tree sold supports our conservation work.

Breakfast with Father Christmas 

Various dates starting from 7 December 

Enjoy a traditional English breakfast in the Manifold Tea Room with your family and meet our special guest, Father Christmas! There will be story time and gifts for the children too.

Join us on a free self-guided adventure to uncover the hidden footprints of our winter wildlife. Track down all 10 down and see if you can identify the creatures that they belong to.

Winter Walks

Whether it's a stroll by the River Manifold, a wander through ancient ravine woodlands or a hike over the limestone hills, the White Peak offers some bracing and beautiful winter walks. Discover quiet landscapes and cool, crisp air to leave you feeling inspired and energised. Ilam Park makes an ideal base to start and end your walk; pick up a takeaway hot drink to keep you warm as you explore, and finish up in the cosy Manifold tea-room for a warming lunch or cake.

Eating and drinking at Ilam Park this Christmas

Grab a cosy spot inside the Manifold tea-room, open every day from 10am - 3pm (except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). We'll be serving warming seasonal meals, sandwiches and a selection of cake. Gluten and dairy-free options are available.
