This Boxing Day we're celebrating by inviting all the family along for a christmas walk full of fun.
Join us for a Christmas Pooch Parade walking around the park enjoying the sights and sniff spots of winter and finding plenty of opportunities to paw-se for a photo!
After the parade we'll be hosting a mini dog show, testing our pups' fancy footwork in a dog agility course. We will be awarding prizes for most handsome boy, prettiest girl, best puppy dog eyes, best trick, best dressed and of course the fastest around the course!
The Manifold Tearoom will open early at 9am for this special event allowing dogs inside until 10am. Serving festive food and drink all day as well as their doggy menu, closing at 3pm.
Dressing up is encouraged for you and your furry friend, so put on your best christmas jumpers and dig out the jingle bells.
We're excited to welcome you all for Ilam Park's first Santa Paws event, we hope you have a paw-itively wonderful day, but please remember to keep your dog on a lead at all times.

- Meeting point
Christmas Pooch Parade starts at 10:00am from outside the Manifold tearoom. Walk lasts up to 40minutes along our accessible path. Dog show starts at 11:00am in front of the hall
- What to bring and wear
Fancy dress encouraged, for both dogs and humans! Wear sturdy shoes, walking boots or wellies and wrap up warm as the weather changes very quickly across the Peak District!

The route will run along our accessible path and will not involve steps.
