In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month 2024, Kedleston Hall will be showcasing the extraordinary film story of an ordinary man - Mr Ajit Singh Dosanjh who arrived in the UK in the early 1950s.

Be inspired by an anecdotal account of 93 old Mr Ajit Singh Dosanjh who arrived in the UK in the early 1950s at age 23.
His daughter Sangita Dosanjh has written a heart-warming account of this immigration journey along with a film which will be shown in the loggia in the garden. There will a 45 minute session followed by a Q&A session.
South Asian Heritage Month aims to celebrate, educate, and raise awareness of the rich culture and contribution of the South Asian Community in the UK.
