In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month 2024, join a talented Kathak dance artist at Kedleston Hall.
- Booking essential
- Admission applies
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to become anything you wanted? How about a bird - soaring above the clouds, or maybe a deer in the woods chasing butterflies? Join Mohika Shankar for a free workshop of dance exploring movement using hand gestures and expressions rooted in Kathak, an Indian Classical Dance form, to create a story where you are 'free to be me.'
There are 2 sessions being held on this day, Mohika will then perform for all visitors in the Hall straight after each session.
South Asian Heritage Month aims to celebrate, educate, and raise awareness of the rich culture and contribution of the South Asian Community in the UK.
