Autumn forage walk at Kedleston Hall
A guided walk and talk through the parkland at Kedleston Hall with the ranger.
- Booking essential
Learn about the identification, history and uses of plants and other objects found in the woodlands and countryside of the UK. By learning about what we have gathered through foraging in the past we can better understand how people have lived from the environment finding food, medicine and craft materials for daily life through the seasons. See how the ranger team at Kedleston manage the woodlands, woodland pasture land, ancient trees, grasslands and wetlands, and how this management benefits the local wildlife as well as creating a rich variety of plant life for Ethnobotany.
