Creative Writing Workshop with the University of Suffolk: "A sense of history"

This workshop focuses on the history of Flatford, giving you insights and tips on historical fiction and the ways in which we are all part of the history of this beautiful location. A short tour of Flatford is included.

Each workshop is designed to inspire your own creative response to the nature and heritage of Flatford. Make the most of this beautiful landscape so beloved of Constable and create a personal picture of your National Trust visit in your own words.

All are welcome to join us, whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced writer. These friendly and supportive workshops welcome groups and individuals and will focus on helping you put your personal experience and expression into words that you can keep and share with others. Each workshop will include a special tour and talk by a member of the National Trust team.
