Help us explore the best way to open for visitors in the future. On these test tours, you will be expertly guided around this glorious Grade 1 Arts and Crafts property which was the home and garden built for Gertrude Jekyll by Edwin Lutyens in 1897.

We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to take part in this unique stage of the Munstead Wood journey, as we open our doors over four days to trial various types of guided tour.

What will the tours be like?

Each session will combine a guided tour by one of the Munstead Wood team and a feedback session where you can help us explore how future access might work. Each tour and feedback session will be 2.5 hours long, with variations on route and timing, but the same rich content which will give a fascinating insight to the Arts and Crafts home, garden and workplace of the world-renowned artist gardener Gertrude Jekyll, who lived at Munstead Wood from 1897 to her death in 1932.
