In the Stable Block you’ll find a broad range of preloved books including vintage books, folio editions and even some signed copies, together with more modern special interest books including architecture, art and more. There will be some fabulous finds but once they’re gone, they’re gone.
If you a find a book you like why not find a bench in the peace and quiet, or if you need shelter when the weather is not so nice, sit back and relax with a tea or coffee in the café whilst you get hooked on the first few pages of your new book.
All the books on sale have been generously donated to our second-hand bookshop and did you know all proceeds directly fund conservation projects here at Polesden Lacey.
