The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Polesden Lacey
Explore a new family trail in the beautiful autumn gardens, 16 September – 3 November.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Explore this very special teatime through extracts and illustrations from Judith Kerr’s classic story, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, on a family trail around the downstairs of the house and gardens, produced in partnership with HarperCollins Publishers.
The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don't expect to see at the door is a big, furry, stripy tiger!
Pick up a free trail sheet and join Sophie and her mummy as they feed a very hungry tiger. Play games, dress-up with costumes from the story or cosy up and read the book together.
