Summer of Play at Dapdune Wharf
Get ready and get set for the exciting return of our Summer of Play event. From watersports and archery to arts and crafts and drama workshops, there will be plenty of fun to choose from.

Come out and play this Summer at Dapdune Wharf. Free sports will abound every Friday to Monday in August. Challenge your family and friends to a game of badminton, table tennis and football or test your target skills with archery, frisbee golf and netball. On 29 and 30 July and 8 August, try the tactile art of gel-plate printing, £10 for 1 hour or £5 for 30 minutes. On 22, 27 and 29 August, unleash your artistic flair with watercolour painting for £4, acrylic painting for £7 or making a friendship bracelet for £3. Explore your wild side with ROAR Outdoors on 1 and 15 August with bushcraft activities, and multi-sports activities on the 25 July and 8 and 22 August for a small charge. On 14 August, we have the Photo Trail Challenge for £4 which will include one print or a lucky dip prize. On the 28 August 10.30am we will have a 1hr photography workshop run by Sam Ivin for ages 7+ for £5 - booking details to come - and then Slightly Silly Portraits from 1pm-3pm at £6 which includes two 4x6 prints. Enter the world of mythical creatures every Wednesday in August with our free trail and crafts. From dragons and fairies to mermaids and nuggles, will they be your friend or foe. For outdoor adventurers, you can kit up with one of our Wey Explorer backpacks from the Visitor Reception and see how many land and water minibeasts you can find around our site.
