Reverse Christmas grotto at Chirk Castle
Enjoy the gift of giving when you meet Father Christmas by leaving a donation for Oswestry and Borders Foodbank.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Christmas is a time for giving, and what better way to give back than by donating to the Oswestry and Borders Foodbank?
On weekends only, from 30 November until 22 December, Father Christmas will be joining us to say thank you for your generous donations. Visit our unique Reverse Grotto and meet Father Christmas between 10.30am and 3.30pm. By donating essential items, you’ll be helping those in need. We are collecting non-perishable food items such as tinned fruit and vegetables, pasta, tea and coffee, juice, UHT milk, and toiletries.
You can drop off your donations at our ticket office during opening hours any day this December.
Please check the foodbank's website for details on what is most needed at the moment: https://oswestryandborders.foodbank.org.uk/
Please note: normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden.
