Ballet Cymru presents ‘Romeo a Juliet’ at Dyffryn Gardens
On 28-30th August Ballet Cymru will perform the ballet 'Romeo a Juliet' at Dyffryn Gardens.

Critics’ Circle Award winning company, Ballet Cymru, present an extraordinary adaptation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece 'Romeo a Juliet'.
On Dyffryn Gardens' Croquet Lawn, Ballet Cymru will create a world of danger and excitement where two young lovers are caught in an age-old feud. Intense fighting, passionate duets and universal themes echo through dramatic and lyrical choreography.
'Romeo a Juliet' features choreography from company Directors Darius James OBE and Amy Doughty, and costumes by Georg Meyer-Wiel who has created costumes for some of the world’s leading companies including Rambert Dance Company and Australian Dance Theatre.
There'll be no provided seating so bring a camping chair or picnic blanket. You can purchase food and refreshments from the Gallery Café or bring your own picnic to enjoy while you watch the performance.
There will be three performances: Wednesday 28th August 2024 at 6.30pm Thursday 29th August 2024 at 6.30pm Friday 30th August 2024 at 6.30pm (Performances end at 8pm.)

This is an accessible event, there are accessible facilities and the route to the performance space is accessible. The viewing space is on a well-kept, flat lawn. Audio description of the performance is available on request at the time of booking.

The performance will go ahead unless the weather is very bad. Ticket refund policy can be found on the Ballet Cymru website. Under eight year-olds go free (on a rate of two under eights per adult).
