It’s peak meadow time and from 6 - 14 July we’re celebrating national meadows day at the Southwood Estate and Colby Woodland Gardens. Take a walk around our meadows with the family and marvel at the wildflowers.

The basics
- Suitability
Suitable for children under 12 if accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Self led. Park at the Southwood Estate car park . Walk to the meadows and enjoy.
- What to bring and wear
Clothing appropriate for the weather. No facilities. Please bring your own refreshments and snacks.
- Other
On a sunny day the ancient paths and fields at Southwood can get very hot so be sure to bring plenty of water and drinks to stay hydrated. Bring sun protection including a hat as well as a raincoat just in case. Sturdy walking shoes are advized. Uneven paths and steps.
