Guided tour of Avebury Manor Garden

Join a tour of the wonderful Avebury Manor Garden with Garry the Head Gardener to learn about seasonal highlights, history, and new developments in the historic garden rooms.

Every month, Avebury Manor Garden's Head Gardener will be taking visitors around the garden to share his knowledge about the site, from the fascinating history and how the garden has developed over the centuries, to the fantastic seasonal planting highlights and tips for your own gardens. Avebury Manor Garden is now fully organic and the team is working to adapt to climate change and new challenges. Learn about all of this and more, followed by light refreshments in the National Trust café.

Please book online. Tickets are £15 each, which includes entry to the garden and tea or coffee and a baked treat at the café.

This event is aimed primarily at adults.

Meeting point

Please meet at the entrance to Avebury Manor Garden at 10am. This is located next to the Alexander Keiller Museum. Please ask at visitor reception in the barn if you need further directions.

What to bring and wear

Clothing and footwear suitable for the outdoors are advised.

Accessibility

The Old Farmyard and garden can be navigated in a way free of steps, although there are rough cobblestones and uneven surfaces.
