HOD: Behind closed doors tours
A chance to see behind the normally closed doors of Stourhead House. Tours may cover four floors with many stairs and will give you an insight into what goes on behind the scenes.

To celebrate Heritage Open Days, you'll have the chance to visit areas of Stourhead House usually closed to visitors including the attic and basement storerooms, the formal showrooms are not usually included.
The tour involves climbing up and down many staircases – please contact the property directly if you have any access concerns.
Whilst these tours are free, to visit the rest of the house or the garden valid membership or an admission ticket will be required.
The tours start from the exhibition space in the basement of Stourhead House – this is an approximately 10-minute walk from the main car park / visitor reception so please allow plenty of time.
