Be led on lesser-known routes around Stourhead's wider estate, see bluebells in spring, wildflowers and butterflies in summer, and the golden landscapes of autumn. Learn more about the archaeology and fascinating history of this storied landscape.
22 March: Park Hill Camp – looking at estate and woodland management and wildlife.
26 April: Bonham Wood – with bluebells in full bloom.
31 May: Alfred’s Tower – looking at wildlife plus estate and woodland management.
28 June: Whitesheet Hill – looking at archaeology, butterflies and wildflowers.
26 July: Park Hill Camp – looking at estate and woodland management and wildlife.
30 August: Alfred’s Tower - looking at wildlife plus estate and woodland management.
27 September: Whitesheet Hill – looking at archaeology, butterflies and wildflowers.
25 October: Bonham Wood – to take in the autumn colours.

Most wider estate walks start outside of Visitor Reception, except Alfred's Tower which starts in Alfred's Tower carpark.
- What to bring and wear
Bring weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes for walking in, you may also want to bring water and snacks.
- Accessibility
Wider estate walks take place on country paths of mixed gradients and quality. Walks range from 3 to 5 miles. Please note that some crossing of stiles will be required.
