North Worcestershire Artist Collective exhibition
We're excited to be hosting the North Worcestershire Artist Collective's exhibition in the Long Gallery from Thursday 13 June – Wednesday 26 June.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
North Worcestershire Artist Collective is a community of professional artists who initially met and connected during Worcestershire Open Studio events. The group of eight meets on a regular basis to discuss their work and gain inspiration from each other. They also come together for several exhibitions each year.
The exhibition at Hanbury Hall will feature examples of work from six of the groups artists and includes paintings, drawings, textiles, and digital work. The work is varied; however, a common theme is using colour to create mood and emotions. The group is excited to see their work placed within a historic setting and will be using the exhibition as an opportunity to consider ways this could inform their practice in future. Members of the group will be present during the exhibition and will be happy to talk about their work. Prints and greeting cards will be for sale alongside the exhibition.
To see more examples of the groups art and other projects they are engaged in you can follow their Instagram page @north_worcs_artist_collective .
