The basics

Meeting point

Make your way to Swanley Grange workshop, just a 10 minute walk from the visitor centre, a 10-15 minute walk from the West Gate entrance or a 40 minute walk from Studley Royal

What to bring and wear

Swanley Grange workshop is indoors, but we're a predominately outdoor site - there are areas of uneven ground and slopes so please wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.

Accessibility

Swanley Grange is accessed on level ground from the Visitor Centre, a 10 minute walk. From West Gate (15 minutes) or Studley (30 minutes) there is a steep hill (15-20% gradient) to access Swanley. Craft instructions will be available on A3 and black and white paper.

Other

Sensory back packs are available to borrow from the Visitor Centre, Studley Royal and West Gate ticket offices. You can pick one up on your way through the ticket offices and drop it off when you’re ready to head home. This craft uses recyclable materials. You can keep your Insect Crown or pop it into recycling at home.
