This day course covers: • An introduction to the practice of foraging and its core principles • Plant and fungi ID skills • Methods of gathering and preparing wild foods • Folklore & history • Nutritional & medicinal benefits of wild plants and fungi • An introduction to core bushcraft skills including an ancient fire lighting technique • Wild food samples to try along the way • A cook-up over the campfire
