Half term bookstravaganza and storytelling
Join us as we celebrate Wordfest with a huge Bookstravaganza event in the Riding School this May half term.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
If you love to mooch through pre-loved books to find yourself a bargain, you’ll be in your element. There will be thousands of books covering all different genres, from crime thrillers to autobiographies and everything in between. There will also be a pop-up stall for vintage books on 27 and 30 May.
Our volunteers will be hosting a drop in book folding demonstration on 27. 29 and 30 May between 1-2:30pm. Stop by to learn how to fold the pages of old books in a way that transforms them into ornaments for your bookshelf.
As it's half term week so we have created a book nook for your book loving little ones. There will be plenty of books for them to disappear into.
Every donation and penny you spend at this event helps us to look after this special place.
This event is free and no admission applies.
