Thank you for exploring corporate volunteering with us. Please note that we are currently reviewing our corporate volunteering offer and will not be accepting enquiries at this time. Please check back regularly for updates.

We offer team volunteering at a number of places we care for. If you're looking for time out of the office with your colleagues whilst making a difference, here’s everything you need to know.

Making a difference

Protecting the environment and nature, beauty and history is our number one priority. With more than 500 historic houses and castles and more than 250,000 hectares of land, we need your help. By donating your time and skills, you can help us keep nature and history flourishing.

Team days

In as little as an afternoon, groups can help us tackle jobs which would otherwise take the rangers and teams at our places days or weeks to complete.

You can get your hands dirty in historic gardens or the heathlands of the countryside, work with collections staff to conserve the treasures of history or help rangers monitor or support habitats for wildlife.

We’ve a whole host of things you can do to look after special places for future generations to enjoy.

What we can offer

Setting

With lots of unique places to spend the day, you could be in part of a UNESCO world heritage site, a stately home or in one of the greatest collections of historic gardens in Europe.

Space

Some of the ideas that changed the world were thought up at places we care for. Follow in the footsteps of Sir Isaac Newton and take inspiration to create your own moment of contemplation away from the day job.

Skills

You’ll work alongside staff who'll share their knowledge and enable you to get hands on with everything from dry stone walling to habitat management.

Social impact

Activities with meaning enable you to do your bit to protect the environment or conserve important heritage sites for local communities and future generations to come.

Something new

Besides the fun and memories you create, top off the day with a behind-the-scenes tour, a hot chocolate around the fire or even making your own Christmas decorations.

Each year thousands of volunteers join us in caring for all the special places you love.
