A stay with a view, this remote hideaway perches just above Loe Bar Beach.
Bar Lodge is a dreamy place to spend a holiday. Perching just above Loe Bar Beach, you’ll be watching sunsets over the ocean from the roof terrace. And when skies turn grey, its contemporary multi-fuel stove in the living room will keep you snug. The lodge was built over a century ago by Captain John Peverell Rogers of Penrose and now offers a spacious three-bedroom holiday home where sea views stretch from the high cliffs of the Lizard, to the Land's End peninsula in the distant west.
Head down to the beach for a lazy day on the sands or go for a stroll along Loe Pool and woodlands just behind the lodge.
You’ll be in a prime location for exploring some of Cornwall’s most stunning scenery. The Lizard and Kynance Cove are less than 40 minutes drive from here. The Helford River, famous for its links with Daphne du Maurier, is a 40 minute drive to the east. Or for some local history, drive into nearby Helston for its folk heritage and beautiful Georgian and Victorian architecture.
