One of the apartments in Doyden House, with the South West Coast Path just outside the door.
Rumps is one of four spacious apartments that occupy Doyden House, a large home built in the early 20th-century for retired prison governor Captain Herbert Latimer Conor.
Soak up the sun on the extensive shared lawn that surrounds the property or warm up by the fire on days when the weather is being less forgiving.
The apartment is in the perfect position from which to explore the area. The South West Coast Path runs just past the house where you can hike to the popular seafront villages of Polzeath and Rock which are within five miles. Venture over the headlands to the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac, made famous in the TV series Doc Martin.
Doyden House is home to three other apartments - Mouls (sleeps four), Conor (sleeps two), and Carnweather (sleeps four). Doyden Stable Cottage (sleeps four) is also nearby. These can be booked together for a group of up to 16 guests. The apartment has a shared garden with other Doyden House guests.
Hall, sitting room with wood burning stove, kitchen/diner, double bedroom (with 6' bed which can also be a twin on request), en-suite bathroom with shower over bath.
