Please book in advance online. You can book online for arrival the same day.
-
In the booking system, choose your field and pitch size, reading the description carefully. Pitches are pre-allocated, and we'll direct you to your pitch when you arrive. If you have a special request, please let us know in your booking. We'll do our best but can't guarantee special requests. You can add extras to your booking online - an awning, pup tent or gazebo - as long as it fits on your pitch leaving a space of 6m between you and your neighbour.
-
The maximum number of adults allowed in a group is four, whether you book together or separately. This is to help preserve the tranquility at the campsite, which isn't suited to larger gatherings.
-
If you would like to camp next to friends or family, please let us know in your booking. We'll do our best but can't guarantee adjacent pitches. If you are pitching next to friends or family, there should be no more than four adults in your combined group.
-
Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
-
We offer a car free discount if you arrive on foot, by bike or by public transport. Please retain any public transport tickets to claim the discount. Ask for details at reception when you arrive.
-
We welcome organised groups like Duke of Edinburgh and Scouts. Please complete the group booking form at the bottom of the page and we'll get back to you.
-
You don't have to be a member of the National Trust to camp and we are unable to offer member discounts due to the regulations we are governed by as a charity. If you'd like to be a member and support our work, please speak to the team at reception.

Tents are pitched in three fields - Lower Predannack (all season) and Higher Predannack and Vellan (mid July - mid August and at some other times).
-
Some pitches have electric hook-up.
-
As well as pitches for backpackers and medium or large tents, there are supersized pitches in each field for families with a very large tent or more than one tent. You'll find all these options in the booking system, subject to availability.
-
You can add an awning, tent extension, pup tent or gazebo to your booking online as long as it fits on your pitch, allowing for a 6m space to your neighbour's tent.
-
Pitches are preallocated and we'll direct you to your pitch when you arrive.
-
At least 6m must be left between tents.
-
-
All pitches are grass, and you can choose a pitch with or without electric hook-up.
-
There are pitches suitable for a variety of vehicles. Read the pitch descriptions in the booking system to help you make your choice.
-
A chemical toilet disposal facility/Elsan is available. We don't have a drive-over grey waste disposal.
-
-
There are four pods in a cluster in the middle of the campsite, so staying in a pod is quite a sociable experience.
-
The pods are insulated and have a heater, light and sockets. They have floor mats, but nothing else is provided.
-
Glass doors open onto a small deck. By the pod, you'll have a wooden table with seats.
-
Think of a pod as a replacement for a tent. You'll need to bring everything you would bring if you were camping in a tent, such as a sleeping bag, sleeping mat (if you'd like to put it on top of the mattresses provided), pots and pans, a stove and camping chairs.
-
The pods are suitable for either three adults, or two adults and three children. The internal dimensions are 3.5m x 2.7m. The headroom is 2.2m.
-
There is one dog-friendly pod. Be sure to choose the dog-friendly pod if you need it, as guests in the other pods are not allowed to bring dogs to the campsite.
-
There's no cooking inside the pods, so you'll be cooking outside. You might like to bring a windbreak.
-
Your car will be parked a short distance away.
-
Opening times vary throughout the season and are displayed around the site.
We can help with charging mobile phones, torches and batteries.
