About West Challacombe Cottage

Look out over sweeping vistas of rolling hills and coastal heathland from the windows of this two-bedroom. It sits in a dreamy location high on Holdstone Down, so nothing will come between you and those stunning views.

Step inside the white-washed cottage to reveal a bright and airy space that hints rustic charm with its log-burner, dark wood flooring and panelled walls. You’ll be able to breakfast alfresco on the front lawn, which is shared with neighbouring West Challacombe Manor (sleeps five), which can be booked together, before setting off for the day ahead.

The shops and restaurants of Combe Martin are just a 20 minute walk from the cottage. As you’ll be on the fringes of Exmoor, you could loop onto the South West Coast Path for its rugged coastline or delve further into its hilly moorlands.
