About 2 Currendon Cottages

2 Currendon cottages is one of a pair of former farm workers’ cottages built in the 1860s and hosts comfortable holiday homes. The cottage boasts a cosy open fire in the living room and stunning views over the Isle of Purbeck. 

You are just a short distance from some of Dorset’s best beaches. Explore the beautiful sandy beaches at Studland before heading over to the Victorian seaside resort of Swanage. 

Further afield, the iconic ruin of Corfe Castle is a must see and just a 10 minute drive. Your stay at 2 Currendon Cottage and other holiday homes helps us to protect this relic dating from the English Civil War.

Wifi: We’re pleased to provide free WiFi access at this accommodation, which is supported by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and therefore should not be relied upon.

Heating: Night storage heating included. The fire will be laid for you on arrival with enough fuel to get you started. Additional logs can be purchased in advance through the contact centre. Logs are available at £9 per bag and this includes kindling.

Logs: Logs for use on the fire can be bought at the time of booking or whilst at the cottage.

Parking: There is parking available for up to three cars at the property.

Garden: There is a shared garden that looks out over fields and hillsides towards Swanage Bay.

Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage

Utilities: Shared laundry facilities with No. 1 Currendon Cottage in adjacent building. The laundry room can also be used as a bike store.
