About Beech Cottage

Beech is one of St Gabriel’s Cottages, on the site of a former hamlet, only a short walk from the coast of the Golden Cap estate. Traversing the great rocky shoulder of Golden Cap offers expansive views of patchwork fields and rugged coastline. On a clear day you can see across Lyme Bay to Dartmoor.

Take the South West Coast Path along the Jurassic Coast directly from your doorstep. Down at sea level, the area has many family-friendly beaches and secluded coves. Why not try your hand at fossil hunting? There are still countless treasures to be found strewn along the beach.

Beech is a semi-detatched cottage, joined to Oak Cottage (sleeps four). St Gabriel's Elm Cottage (sleeps five) and Ash Cottage (sleeps three) are also part of the old farmhouse. Groups of up to 17 guests can book to stay in multiple cottages.
