Gamekeeper's Cottage is an unusual single storey, detached cottage, formerly a lodge of the 17th-century Felbrigg Hall. Located on the edge of woodland, the cottage boasts a grand brick façade and a large, wild garden.
Enjoy immediate access to a wooded lakeside path and head out for a stroll before breakfast. Later, explore some of the longer walking routes that criss-cross the impressive Felbrigg Estate.
With the Norfolk Broads just 20 miles away, there’s no excuse not explore this unique landscape. Jump in a boat and discover the Broads from the water, or stick to dry land and see how many bird species you can spot in the area rich in wildlife.

Hallway, two steps up into kitchen/dining room, sitting room with open fire. Three bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin that can be a 6' double on request and 1 single) and step down to bathroom with shower over bath and separate lavatory.
Access: Access through the gate to the cottage is a public walk way and must be kept clear at all times. The walk way leads into the Felbrigg Estate.
Heating: Air source central heating is provided. This system has been installed as part of our renewable energy programme.
Parking: For two cars adjacent to the cottage.
Electric Vehicle charging point: There is a charging point in the main visitor car park at Felbrigg Estate which guests are welcome to use subject to availability
Garden: The garden is not fully enclosed and so you may want to supervise young children.
Please note: There is a Field Study Centre opposite and there can be some noise from children during the day and early evening.
