You can book in advance online.

For tents, choose your tent size in the booking system, reading the description carefully. Please include your tent dimensions in your booking so we can place you in the best spot. On arrival, you'll be directed to your pitch.

For pods, please book a standard pod or a dog-friendly pod. Standard pods don't accept dogs.

The maximum number of adults allowed in a group is four, whether you book together or separately. This is to help preserve the tranquility at the campsite, which isn't suited to larger gatherings.

If you would like to camp next to friends or family, we'll do our best to help when you arrive, although we can't always guarantee adjacent pitches. If you are pitching next to friends or family, there should be no more than four adults in your combined group.

Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

We welcome organised groups like Duke of Edinburgh and Scouts. Please complete the group booking form at the bottom of the page and we'll get back to you.

You don't have to be a member of the National Trust to camp and we are unable to offer member discounts due to the regulations we are governed by as a charity. If you'd like to be a member and support our work, please speak to the team at reception.

Crom Campsite is 7 miles from Lisnaskea off the A34. The estate is well signposted on brown signs.
There's a bus stop three miles away in Newtownbutler, on the route from Enniskillen to Clones (connections from Belfast).

Please check in at reception between 2pm and 5pm before pitching.

If you're arriving after 4pm, we'll send you the code for the main estate gates before your arrival and an envelope of information will be waiting for you.

On your day of departure, please leave your tent pitch by 12noon and your pod by 11am. If you'd like to extend your stay, please book and pay at reception at 11am when it opens.

There are 16 simple grass pitches with no hook-up available. They're close to the site's facilities and to the car park.
As well as selecting the right size pitch for your tent in the booking system, please provide your tent dimensions in your booking so we can select the right pitch for you. We'll direct you to your pitch when you arrive.
These five stone nooks, which were once animal sheds, are now cosy pods with some simple comforts and a stable door looking out to the lough. There's a picnic bench with metal barbecue grid outside for each pod. It takes about a minute to walk to the facilities block.
They have:

Reception is open 11am to 5pm in the Visitor Centre. There's no campsite shop at Crom, so please bring everything you need.
Showers and toilets: The facilities block has showers and toilets. Showers are £1 for 10 minutes. Bring a torch for walking to the block after dark. Dogs are not allowed in the facilities block.
Washing-up area: There's an outdoor washing-up area.
Laundry: There is no washing machine, but there is a tumble dryer using tokens available from reception in the visitor centre.
Waste: We have general waste, a bin for barbecues and glass collection at Crom.
There's no facility for freeze packs or to exchange gas cylinders.
Electric Vehicle charging: Sorry, there's no electric vehicle charging at Crom.
Parking: To preserve the tranqulity and the views, cars are parked away from tent pitches in the car park but it's not far to carry your things. If you're staying in a pod, we'll show you where you can drop off your things before parking in the car park.
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available in and around reception. Please note the Wi-Fi should not be relied upon.
Mobile phone signal: There's very little or no mobile phone signal or data coverage at the campsite.
Telephone: There's a telephone in the Visitor Centre, and an emergency phone on the campsite.
Visitor centre and tea-room: Please check opening times. Please note, the tea-room only accepts cash, no cards.
We welcome up to two dogs free of charge to camping pitches. Please let us know if you're bringing dogs when you book.
Please choose a dog-friendly pod if you need one - standard pods are not dog friendly, dog-friendly pods are. Standard pod guests are not permitted to bring dogs to the campsite.
When at the campsite, please keep your dog on a lead at all times and exercise them away from other campers. Please pick up after your dog right away and use the waste bins provided. Dogs are not allowed in the facilities block. Crom is a dog-friendly place to visit with a dog shower at the visitor centre and plenty of trails to walk.
Individual campfires are not allowed, but there's a communal campfire at Crom where you can gather to relax and meet new friends. Firewood for the communal area is for sale in the visitor centre. Please don't collect deadwood from the woodlands, as it has an important role in supporting the communities of lichens, fungi, invertebrates and other protected wildlife.
Charcoal barbecues are allowed when raised from the ground. Please bring your own as we don't provide any onsite.
Tents only: We are unable to accept campervans, motorhomes, trailer tents and caravans at Crom Campsite.
Quiet time: Please think of your neighbours and help us protect the peace and tranquility at Crom Campsite at all times. No noise 11pm - 7am please.
Cooking safety: Cooking inside tents or pods is not permitted and can be lethal due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
No smoking please.
No audible devices please including radios, stereos or other sound systems please.

Lost property: If you leave any of your possessions behind at the campsite, please contact us as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to charge you for any storage and delivery costs that we incur in relation to your lost property. We charge a lost property charge of £10 to cover our administrative costs and standard Royal Mail delivery up to 2kgs in the UK to return your items to you. If a request to return your items deviates from these conditions, then we reserve the right to charge you any additional costs.
Where possible, we’ll hold lost property for three months after which it’ll be disposed of. Perishables will be disposed of immediately and are therefore unreturnable. In addition, we will only be able to return items permissible by Royal Mail.
Problem or complaint: Every reasonable care will be taken to ensure that the camping pitch, pod or bothy and also site amenities are presented to a high standard. Should you find any cause for complaint, please immediately contact one of the campsite staff, so that reasonable steps can then be taken to rectify the problem. National Trust will not normally make any refunds in respect of complaints made after the Visitor’s departure from the campsite if the Visitor did not make the problem or complaint known to staff during the Visitor’s stay. If you supplied an email address at the time of booking, a survey will be emailed to you for your comments after your stay. Alternatively, a comment form may be completed and left at the campsite reception. All complaints made after the Visitor’s departure should be made in writing by post or email to:

Bike and boat hire are available from the visitor centre during opening hours. Please call 028 6773 8118 to book yours in advance.
Adult and balance bikes are available, but please bring children's bikes with you.
To fish, you'll need a fishing permit and can buy one in the visitor centre.
The nearest food shop is in Newtownbutler, about three miles away. It also has a fuel station with a cash machine.There's a bus stop there, on the route from Enniskillen to Clones (connections from Belfast).
For more facilities, Enniskillen is about 18 miles north.
The only nearby café is the Little Orchard Tea-room (not National Trust) on the Crom estate, serving homemade specials, soups, sandwiches, paninis, and salads. It is usually open 11am-4pm, but do check the Crom webpage. It doesn't accept card payments, cash only.
From the door of your tent you are just moments from all the action at Crom. The 2,000 acres of parkland at Crom lie beside Lough Erne, where you can enjoy a bracing walk around the shore, hire a boat from the visitor centre to explore the islands, or discover the old castle ruins and ancient yew trees. Home to a variety of plants and animals, the diversity of habitats makes Crom an important conservation site. Look out for butterflies, red squirrels, otters and pine martens, and visit the bird hide in a quiet corner of the estate.
