You’ll find this seaside cottage at the western end of White Park Bay with great views all around.
Listen to the waves crashing on the craggy shores from the comfort of this three-bedroom seaside cottage. Nestled in the western end of White Park Bay in the old fishing hamlet of Portbradden, you’ll have all-encompassing views of the beach and out towards the western cliffs of Rathilin Island. Portbradden Cottage has been tastefully decorated and comes complete with a crackling log-burner and a beach garden.
Drive 10-minutes to the thrilling Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. If you’re bold enough to walk across the 100 ft high wobbly bridge, you’ll be rewarded with a bird’s eye view of green water flowing around the ancient caves and caverns below you.
Also close by is the iconic basalt columns of Giant’s Causeway. Join a guided tour or pick up an audio guide to discover more about this intriguing coastal landscape. There’s a visitor centre, café and shop here too.

Ferries: Stena Line offers a 10% discount for National Trust Holidays guests travelling to a cottage or campsite in Northern Ireland. You’ll need your booking reference to access the discount. Please follow this link. We recommend booking your ferry early due to the high demand for popular crossing times at busy times of the year including holiday periods.
Heating: Oil central heating is included.
Parking: Available for one car with free additional public parking nearby. There is also a garage for one car.
Garden: A paved garden and beach garden with table and chairs to the front, just across the lane from the cottage. Large elevated landscaped garden with mature planting to rear with patio area and large picnic table.
The front beach garden is located right on the shoreline so children may need to be supervised.
Cottage approach: there is no through traffic; vehicle access is only permitted to cottage guests and other residents of the hamlet.
Parking: for two cars, includes garage and driveway.
The garage is accessible from the utility room with additional parking in front of the garage door.
Utilities/Electricals: The washing machine and tumble dryer are a combined washer/dryer.
