A former farm workers cottage with Hadrian’s Wall and Northumberland countryside on the doorstep.
Springwell is a cosy retreat in the wild Northumberland countryside. The holiday cottage is converted from a pair of 18th-century farm workers’ cottages and is enclosed by a drystone wall. With three bedrooms and lots of space, Springwell is ideal for large families or walking groups.
Explore Hadrian’s Wall, just half a mile away from the cottage or take a short stroll to the Northumberland National Park's The Still Discovery Centre. Two other important Roman sites, Housesteads and Vindolanda, are also a few minutes away by car.
Springwell is perfectly placed as a base for exploring the North Pennines AONB, located to the south of the cottage.
