Important notice

There will be a diversion in place for entrance to Saltram car park on Monday 11th November only. Please follow the red signs when driving into Saltram on this day. The house will be closed from 2 to 22 November to prepare for Christmas.

Christmas at Saltram 2024 

To guarantee entry, house visits must be booked in advance. There will also be a fun-filled children’s trail through the garden to enjoy. The festivities run from Friday, 22nd November, to Wednesday, 1st January.

Explore Saltram with HistoryScapes 

HistoryScapes is a GPS-based app that takes you on a journey back in time, immersing you in the sights and sounds of Saltram in the late 18th century. The pilot project is led by the National Trust’s Historic Environment and Visitor Experience teams and supported at Saltram by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. From September 1 to April 30, you can explore Saltram’s parkland and gardens through this unique mobile storytelling experience.
