Father Christmas is making his annual appearance in his magical sitting room in the Manor. Demand is always high so make sure to book your tickets early. Pre-booking is essential.

Visit Father Christmas in his magical sitting room in the Manor on 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 December. Tickets and time slots must be pre-booked.
Father Christmas tickets cost £16.50 per child. Up to 4 children in your group can visit Father Christmas together and up to 6 additional adults can accompany them. Please make sure you select the right type of ticket for the number of children attending. Visit includes a gift for all children booked into the grotto. No charge for babies accompanying an older sibling unless you want them to have a gift too.
Accompanying adults who are non-members of the National Trust must pay standard admission to the site on the day, children booked into the grotto will get free site admission included in the grotto ticket. National Trust members must show a valid membership card on arrival.
Please select the correct ticket type for the number of children in your group (up to 4 children max per ticket) for the time slot. Your whole family group will go in to see Father Christmas together and not with any other families.
For groups with more than 4 children, please purchase additional tickets in the same time slot if available.
During your visit, you can also see the Manor decorated for a traditional Victorian Christmas, open from 11am - 4pm (last entry at 3pm). If your grotto time slot is after 3pm and you wish to see the Manor, please arrive at least an hour before to give yourself enough time to see the decorations.

Please check in at Visitor Reception at least 30 mins before your time slot to check in and to be scanned or to pay for entry. Please note, parking spaces cannot be guaranteed.
- What to bring and wear
The queue for the grotto is outside, so please wear appropriate, warm clothing and sturdy footwear. You may be queuing for at least 15 minutes.
- Accessibility
The grotto is wheelchair accessible via a small ramp. Please call 01902 760106 if you have any further access requirements. Assistance animals only, permitted into the grotto.
- Other
For groups with more than 4 children, please purchase additional tickets in the same time slot if available. No grotto tickets will be available directly from the property. Please go to Visitor Reception on the main car park on arrival. Show your grotto booking confirmation to the reception team, at this point adults will be asked to pay admission if you are not a National Trust member. Members will need to show a valid membership card. Due to space restrictions, only 6 adults per booking will be admitted to the grotto area and we may ask that pushchairs are left outside. We ask that you only join the grotto queue at your allotted entry time. There will be a fixed number of children per time slot and therefore predicted queueing time should be around 15 minutes. If the queueing time becomes extended we will communicate this on the day. You are welcome to take photos in the grotto, please have your cameras ready. Each paying child will receive an age-appropriate gift from Father Christmas. Please note- last entry time to the Manor for general visits is 3pm.
