Adult Beginners Needle Felting Workshop - Swans
This is a workshop aimed at confident adult beginners or intermediate level felters with tutor Natalie Harris(Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.

An adult (18+) workshop aimed at confident beginners or intermediate level felters with tutor Natalie Harris(Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.
This workshop is aimed at beginner felters that have had a go before -confident first timers are welcome, but there is a bit of armature work which you may find tricky if you are brand new to needle felting.
In the morning (10.30-12:00) the types of wool and needles are best for sculpting the body will be explained and then you will be provided with a ready made armature to make the base body sculpt of your swan.
We will break for lunch and an opportunity to get some fresh air in the grounds at 12.00. We will then return at 13:00 to finish our swans, adding wing feathers and the details.
All materials are provided. Lunch is not included, the the on-site tearoom will be open or you may bring your own.
Admission to Wightwick Manor is also included and you are welcome to view the house and grounds during the lunch break and once the workshop has ended.
Parking is free.
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel and you may have to negotiate some stairs.

- Suitability
Suitable for over 18's.
- Meeting point
Please park in the main car park and make your way up the path to the Manor. The course will take place in the Meeting Room which is located above the Old Manor shop (not wheelchair accessible).
- What to bring and wear
The Meeting Room is heated, but we would recommend you bring extra layers in the winter months as it is located in an old building. Please no stiletto heels. or large bags in the Manor.
- Accessibility
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel. The Meeting Room is located on the second floor of the old Manor building, up a short flight of stairs (no wheelchair access). Visitor toilets are in a separate building next to the tearoom.
