Fused Glass Workshop with Suzie Lavender - Festive Mobiles and Festive Projects
Throughout the day Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be teaching two sessions of fused glass making techniques. These workshops are suitable for beginners or as a refresher course.

Morning Session 10:30am-12:30pm: Festive Glass Mobiles – £45
In this workshop you will design and create a hanging Christmas decoration mobile. You will construct and create a flat bauble, glass star, tree shaped decoration which you will be able to decorate in a colour scheme of your choice. You will learn some basic glass fusing and layering techniques with coloured glass. Participants will be introduced a selection of materials and tools. All participants will be make a selection of 3 hanging Christmas decorations and also a hanging bar to create your mobile.
Afternoon Session 1:30pm-3:30pm: Festive Glass Fusing - £45
Participants will be choosing from a selection of Festive fused glass projects. You can choose from: A Set of 5 decorations, a string of Bunting (5 pennants), a Trinket dish, a Photo frame, a Candle screen or a Hanging picture plaque - All using a festive colour scheme of your choice. You will assemble and create your pieces whilst learning about glass techniques and will be introduced to the materials and tools used. You can also try out some basic glass cutting skills to create your piece if you wish to.
Book onto both sessions for the discounted price of £80.
Booking essential, all Materials, safety equipment and tools are provided. Please wear closed toe shoes. Workshop held on upper floor of the Old Manor building which is not wheelchair accessible. Contact Suzie with any specific requests, access or assistance needs or requirements.

- Meeting point
Please park in the main car park and make your way up the path to the Manor. The course will take place in the Meeting Room which is located above the Old Manor shop (not wheelchair accessible).
- What to bring and wear
Please wear closed toe shoes, no stiletto heels.
- Accessibility
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel. The Meeting Room is located on the second floor of the old Manor building, up a short flight of stairs (no wheelchair access). Visitor toilets are in a separate building next to the tearoom.
- Other
Suitable for adults and for teens age 13 and over, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult. Participants who are regular attendees of Suzie’s workshops are welcome to make different projects to save repetition if they contact Suzie in advance. All creations will be kiln fired by Suzie following the sessions and then collection from Wightwick Manor (or postage of the work can be organised) from 14days later.
