Tailoring an Image exhibition
Coming soon: discover the fashion of Lord Fairhaven in this brand-new menswear exhibition in the House.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Dive into the world of 20th-century men’s fashion and bespoke tailoring in a new menswear exhibition at Anglesey Abbey this summer.
From 1 July to 31 October 2025, come and take a look at the numerous outfits, suits and accessories on display inside the House and learn more about Lord Fairhaven's fashion choices. Many of the suits on display were made bespoke for him by his Savile Row tailor, Huntsman & Sons.
As part of the exhibition, you can watch a specially commissioned film which takes you inside the Huntsman workshop on Savile Row and provides unique insights into the collection of menswear on display at Anglesey Abbey.
The exhibition has been produced in collaboration with Huntsman & Sons and is an opportunity to see a wide range of outfits that are not normally on display. The outfits will be mounted on mannequins and exhibited throughout the House. A series of accompanying talks and workshops will also form part of the exhibition. More information coming soon.
This 'Tailoring an Image' exhibition is free for National Trust members and visitors to Anglesey Abbey. Please note that normal admission charges apply to enter the estate (gardens and house).
Don't miss this chance to see a rare survival of bespoke 20th-century clothing, belonging to just one man.
