Join us for an exclusive tour of some of the magnificent statuary collection at Anglesey Abbey, curated by the passionate and discerning Urban Huttleston Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven. Born in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, and later moving to England, Lord Fairhaven amassed a diverse and significant collection of art, including over one hundred sculptures and ornaments that now grace the beautiful gardens of Anglesey Abbey. His unique approach to collecting has resulted in a collection of national and international importance, making this tour a must-see for everyone interested in learning more about the statues they often see but may know little about.

Tour Dates and Times:

• September: 4th and 18th (Wednesdays), 13:30 - 14:30

• October: 2nd and 16th (Wednesdays), 13:30 - 14:30

No need to pre-book, simply turn up and join. Spaces are limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. The tours will be available for a limited time as the statues will shortly (November) be having their winter covers put on.

Tours are limited, so don’t miss your chance to experience this remarkable collection up close. The statues at Anglesey Abbey are not just pieces of art; they enhance the beauty of the surrounding gardens and are meticulously maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers. This dedication ensures that the collection remains in excellent condition for visitors to appreciate and enjoy.
