Christmas at Anglesey Abbey: House Entry

Treasure time together this Christmas.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

The house at Anglesey Abbey will be beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, with festive displays highlighting Lord Fairhaven’s vast and significant collection. Step inside to discover a treasure-trove of history and admire the themed Christmas decorations in each room.

All ages can enjoy spotting the pineapple decorations in the Living Room inspired by the Pagoda Clock or attend a Grecian Banquet in the Dining Room. From 1 November until 22 November, the house will be open for tours only at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm while preparations are underway. There is no need to pre-book a tour this year.

The house will be fully decorated for Christmas and open for visitors to explore from Saturday 23 November to Sunday 5 January, any time between 11am and 3pm, with last entry at 2.30pm. Please note that Anglesey Abbey will be closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

In the wider estate, visit the sensory winter garden, indulge in festive shopping and embark on a wintry adventure in the Woodland Play Area.

Entry is free for National Trust members, and normal admission applies to non-members.

Please note that the House is a 5-10 minute walk from the Visitor Centre. Once inside, you're able to take as long as you wish. The House closes at 3pm.
