Become a Volunteer Drop-In Session

Here at National Trust Houghton Mill we are looking to recruit volunteers for a variety of different roles on different days of the week.

Volunteering provides a great opportunity to meet new people as well as develop new skills: from public speaking as a tour guide to learning how to bag flour and about the milling process.

The basics

Meeting point

There is parking in the car park. Come to the Mill building. The door will be open on the right-hand side. There will be a table with information about volunteering and people to speak to.

Accessibility

The drop-in session will be taking place on the ground floor of the Mill. There are no steps between the car park and Mill entrance. There are car park spaces for blue badge holders.
