Looking for some refreshments or retail therapy during your visit to Wicken Fen? Pick up a freshly baked sausage roll, a slice of cake or a cuppa at the Docky Hut Café, and browse for souvenirs in the National Trust shop.

Docky Hut Café

Pay a visit for coffee and homemade bakes, light lunches or afternoon tea. Just like the landscape, the menu changes with the seasons.

If you're taking away, bring your reusable cup to help us reduce waste and receive 25p off your hot drink.

Bringing your dog

Take your dog into the café, on a short lead, while you choose and order your food. As space is limited please don’t sit inside the café with your four-legged friend and find a space at the outside tables.

Water bowls are available for your dog around the outside seating area.

You can grab a coffee to take out on your walk if you prefer. Please take your rubbish home with you to help keep the reserve tidy and litter free.

There are picnic tables in front of the boat shed opposite the Cycle Centre if you want to bring your own refreshments.

Allergen information

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Always check when you visit

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.

Thank you

Every cuppa or tasty treat you buy helps us to continue looking after places for everyone to enjoy.
